Because cost efficient applications require an understanding of how best to incorporate, install and use Twintec tubing connectors, we have a few suggestions that should help in getting the full benefit from using Twintec multi-tube connectors.
Locations: Twintec multi-tube connectors are suitable for environments that are reasonably clean. Care should be taken to protect the connector from dust and debris by using Twintec dust covers whenever an open connector is exposed to possible contamination. We also supply blanking plugs and sockets for complete line isolation when testing in harsh conditions.
Mounting: Twintec multi-tube connectors should be mounted so undue stress is not affecting the connector.Heavy lines should be supported. Vertical installations with hanging tubes can work very well. Mounting considerations should include protecting the connector from collision by personnel, equipment and vehicles
